Position: Paediatrician

Location: Both Medical Centers

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 2 Years

Salary: US $90,000.00 (Additional Allowances Provided)

Job Summary:

The post holder will do or cause to be done the activities below.

These activities are not exhaustive, and other duties within his/ her qualifications, experience, and ability may be required.

Clinical

• Attend to Paediatric out-patients via the Out-patient clinic
• Attend deliveries where indicated according to policies and procedures
• Attend to Paediatric in-patients and the special care baby unit patients, including stabilization of premature or sick neonates prior to transfer to level 3 NICU
• Provide Paediatric emergency coverage on an on-call basis
• Provide evidence-based patient care within acceptable regional/worldwide standards
• Conduct Well-Child Clinics
• Performs any duties within the scope of expertise as directed by supervising physician.

Essential Requirement 

• Hold an appropriate Paediatric degree and, where necessary, Royal College / Boards / other certification in a speciality field of medicine.
• Current ACLS/PALS/ATLS Certification.

Preferred Requirements 

At least five years as a medical practitioner at an independent level in Paediatrics.

Skills and Abilities

• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft/Windows operating system
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems
• Must have proven strong interpersonal skills Professional manner
• Proven ability to work as part of a team.
