Position: Family Medicine Physician

Location: Both Medical Centers

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 2 Years

Salary: US $83,000.00 (Additional Allowances Provided)

Job Summary:

The post holder will do or cause to be done the activities below.

These activities are not exhaustive, and other duties within his/ her qualifications, experience, and ability may be required.

Clinical

• To examine, diagnose and treat patients with various health issues with physical, emotional and social parameters.

• To provide holistic advice relevant to the social and cultural background of patients.

• To make appropriate and timely referrals to secondary/specialist care where required.

• Makes referrals where appropriate to other healthcare professionals.

• Provide evidence-based patient care within acceptable regional /worldwide standards.

• Provides clinical guidance, direction and coordination of activities for supportive care, including follow-up care within the scope of practice.

• Performs other professional duties as may be required within the scope and ability of the practitioner.

Essential Requirement 

• Hold an appropriate Family Medicine degree and, where necessary, Royal College / Boards / other certification in a speciality field of medicine.

• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Requirements 

At least five years as a medical practitioner at an independent level within Family Practice and/or Emergency Medicine.

Skills and Abilities

• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft/Windows operating system
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems
• Must have proven strong interpersonal skills Professional manner
• Proven ability to work as part of a team.
