Position: Nephrologist/Internist

Location: Both Medical Centers

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 2 Years

Salary: US $100,000.00 (Additional Allowances Provided)

Job Summary:

The post holder will do or cause to be done the activities below.

These activities are not exhaustive, and other duties within his/ her qualifications, experience, and ability may be required.

• Provide ethical, competent, empathetic, evidence-based patient care within acceptable regional and evidenced-based standards.
• Provide evidenced based care to inpatient and outpatient Nephrology and Internal Medicine in-patients and those patients referred to Nephrology and Internal Medicine for consultation as part of multidisciplinary care.
• Provide evidence-based care for dialysis patients.
• Provide Internal Medicine emergency coverage on an on-call basis.
• Attend daily ward rounds on patients admitted to Internal Medicine when on call.

Essential Requirement 

• Hold an appropriate Internal Medicine degree and, where necessary, Royal College / Boards / other certification in a speciality field of medicine.
• Current ACLS.

Preferred Requirements 

At least five years as a medical practitioner at an independent level within the field of Internal Medicine and Nephrology

Skills and Abilities

• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft/Windows operating system
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records Systems
• Must have proven strong interpersonal skills Professional manner
• Proven ability to work as part of a team.
