TCI Hospital attends 11th Annual World Medical Tourism Congress

(Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Wednesday 7th November, 2018): Representatives from InterHealth Canada – Turks and Caicos Islands Hospital attended the 11th World Medical Tourism Congress (WMTC) on October 28-30, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.

WMTC is one of the most comprehensive international healthcare conferences and trade shows in the industry bringing attendees from across the world to collaborate and advance in the industry.

The delegation comprised of returning Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Carriere, Chief of Medical Services, Dr. Denise Braithwaite-Tennant, Public Relations and Marketing Manager, Nikira John and Visiting Consultant Coordinator, Kay Vanes-Williams.

InterHealth Canada has been participating in the conference interchangeably as an exhibitor, sponsor and/or attendee for the past five years. Members of the company’s delegation are also Certified Medical Tourism Professionals.

The 2018 congress agenda featured several keynote summits on public private partnerships in health care, the next generation of medical tourism, the business of genomics, innovation in healthcare technology, specialty drugs, mental and behavioural health.
