General Ward / High Dependency Unit

Our two-bed High Dependency Unit is dedicated to providing the most advanced care for patients requiring critical care and continuous observation. Our mission is to ensure prompt and complete attention is given to all patient care needs including diagnoses, treatment and the performance of medical procedures.

The equipment and patient monitoring systems in the unit are among the most advanced technology, which aid our physicians and nurses to effectively diagnose and treat life-threatening situations. Parents/Patients relatives are encouraged to participate in their care while in hospital and are active participants in the decision-making process.

Our physicians, consultants and nursing staff have specialized training to meet the needs of HDU patients. Our registered dietician specialist perform screenings and develop meal plans to meet the individual nutritional needs of our patients.

WOUND CARE

Wound care services provide a comprehensive assessment of people who have non-healing wounds or wounds that are slow to heal. We promote assessment of complex wound requiring advance wound therapy treatment. We formulate treatment plans and review planned assessment as required.
